2010 OHEN Convention Vendor Information

Dear Vendor or Exhibitor,

You are invited to participate in the Oregon Home Education Network’s 2010 Homeschool Convention titled "You’re On the Right Track!" OHEN is an inclusive, statewide, non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting all of Oregon’s homeschooling families. The convention is one of the major ways we offer this support. We anticipate approximately 300-500 convention attendees. There will be multiple opportunities for attendees to shop, including the first hour of registration, breaks between sessions and a lunch break. At our convention, we strive for participation from as many exhibitors as we can accommodate, seeking a broad diversity of vendors who provide homeschool or educational products, services or resources.

Schedule: The convention will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Tigard High School, 9000 SW Durham Road in Tigard, Oregon. Site directions will be sent with your registration confirmation.

Set up: Saturday, March 20, 7:00 am – 9:00 am

Exhibits Open: Saturday, March 20, 9:00 am – 4:40 pm

Tables:
The charge for an 8’ table is $110. $25 discounts are available to non-profits. The tables are rectangular and undraped. You may dress your tables as you wish. Electrical outlets are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for an additional charge of $10.00. (Don’t forget your extension cords!)

Advertising: Advertising in our convention program book is available. The ad size is 3.5" (horizontal) by 2.5" (vertical) and costs only $25. The black & white ad must have a border and be camera-ready; no exceptions. Send in your ad no later than February 26, 2010.

Goody Bag Materials: Even if you are unable to attend the convention as a vendor, you may wish to send materials (brochures, samples, etc.) to be included in our "goody-bags" for a nominal fee of $50.00. Please send these materials to Bobbi Burton, 4115 NW Chaparral Terrace, Beaverton, OR 97006 (Be sure that they arrive no later than February 26, 2010.)

Lunch: Sack Lunches are available and include a Grand Central Bakery sandwich, chips, water & a small treat.

  • Turkey, provolone, lettuce on Como bread (Dijon mustard & mayonnaise available)
  • Ham, swiss, lettuce on Como bread (Dijon mustard & mayonnaise available)
  • Garden Veggie Grinder: Avocado, provolone, sweet onion, lettuce, vinaigrette & mayo on a seeded baguette
  • Vegan: Garden Veggie Grinder with extra veggies, no cheese or mayonnaise
