Umatilla & Morrow County Homeschool Support
We are a homeschool support group in the Umatilla Morrow County area. We are Christian based, but are inclusive to all homeschool families in this area. We welcome all veteran and new homeschool families who are looking for support, friendships, activities, and field trips. We are not a formal group. We run more like a coop where everyone is encouraged to take part sometime during the year! Feel free to post anything that pertains to homeschoolers. If you wish to organize a homeschool event feel free to post that information as well. Our hope is that this is a place where you can find encouragement in your homeschooling journey…come check us out!

Home Educators’ Cooperative of the Mid-Columbia
The goal of HECMC is to facilitate communication among homeschooling families in the Mid-Columbia Region of southeast Washington State (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, and surrounding areas). This list is open to all homeschool families in our region. The purpose of the HECMC is to create a cooperative and supportive community of homeschooling families without regard to educational, political, or religious philosophy. It is envisioned as a base for activities, outings, and workshops to meet the needs of novice and seasoned homeschoolers across the region. We are a cooperative support group, meaning that all members need to contribute in order to make us successful.

Libraries and other Resources
Cook Memorial Library
The Cook Memorial Library in La Grande has a special homeschool section featuring an array of books, movies, audios and educational/manipulative items specifically requested by our homeschool community and only available to homeschool families. The library also provides homeschoolers with an educator card which allows for a 4-week loan period.
