Join us at Oaks Park’s annual Not Back to School Day event on September 5, 2025, 11am to 3pm. Special day of rides just for homeschoolers and their families, with 40% off the regular retail prices for ride bracelets! Click HERE to read Oaks Park’s homeschool policies and to get your advance tickets!

OHEN’s own NBTSD tradition, the Homeschool Resource and Curriculum Fair, will be held indoors in the Dance Pavilion, from 11am to 3pm. Note that the Resource Fair starts an hour before the rides open and closes an hour before the rides close!. We’ll be hosting a variety of displays and activities for you this year:

  • Commercial vendors and activities for your homeschool life (books! projects! classes! volunteer opportunities!)
  • Individual and home-based vendors (tutors, private lessons, field trips, home-based business)
  • ASK OHEN table staffed with volunteers to answer all your homeschooling questions. Five-minute presentations on topics of interest throughout the day.
  • Curriculum Fair! (click for more information) Bring your used curriculum to sell on consignment or shop for items of interest.
  • KIDSPACE for little ones and their grown-ups who need a break from the excitement of the day.
