Mid-Valley Homeschoolers
Mid-Valley Homeschoolers is an email support group intended to strengthen our local homeschooling community by enhancing communication between homeschoolers who reside in the mid-Willamette Valley. Here we can exchange information about events and activities, classes, workshops, performances, library programs, ideas and resources that would be of interest to local homeschoolers, plus share our fears and concerns.

McMinnville Independent Home Educators Network (MIHEN)
McMinnville Independent Home Educators Network (Mee-hen) is a resource for homeschoolers in the Willamette Valley, Yamhill County: McMinnville, Newberg, Dayton, Amity, Yamhill, Carlton, Sheridan, Willamina.... You get the idea. We are an inclusive group and welcome anyone, from any locale who would like to participate. In addition to local activities, we schedule activities in the Portland-metro and Salem areas.

Newberg Area Home Educators Network
The goal of this group is to offer a meeting place for homeschoolers in Newberg and the surrounding area including Yamhill County, Sherwood and Scholls. We have organized a local park day and a Mom's night out. We would also like to see outings, classes and other special events developed as interest arises. We encourage the formation of age appropriate special interest groups. This group is all-inclusive. We have members of varying personal and homeschooling philosophies.

Stayton Area Homeschoolers
A homeschooling group for families ONLY in the Stayton, Sublimity, Aumsville, Turner, Mehama, Lyons, Silverton, Scio, Mt. Angel, Mill City, Jefferson, Detroit areas. ANY AGE: toddlers, preschool, kindergartners, elementry school, middle school and high school, and special education. We meet 1-2 times a month to discuss curricula and education methods along with sharing resources. Projects/crafts/activities are provided for the children at this time.

Salem Area Support for Homeschoolers (SASH)
SASH is a support group for Salem area homeschoolers, who meet monthly to discuss issues around homeschooling, share resources and information, and plan activities and field trips. SASH welcomes members from all religious, ethnic and racial backgrounds as well as all styles and methods of homeschooling. We also welcome homeschooling newbies and the merely curious – get your questions answered here!

Salem Homeschool Independent Network of Educators (SHINE)
SHINE is an organization for support, educational fieldtrips and socialization of homeschooling families in Salem and surrounding areas. SHINE holds park days, meetings and annual get-togethers such as camping trips and picnics. Families are invited to plan social activities and/or field trips of their choice. We are open to ALL homeschool families regardless of reason for homeschooling, and religious or political affiliations. Emphasis is on group activities with respect, compassion and tolerance toward others. SHINE welcomes all homeschoolers, however we do strive to uphold Christian morals and values.

The Learning Community of Corvallis (CorvallisTLC) TLC is a support and activity group for families who are homeschooling in the Corvallis area. We are an inclusive group and use many different approaches to learning with our children. We have weekly park or gym days, a monthly Mom’s brunch, family potlucks, field trips, hands-on activities, clubs, celebrations, and online as well as in person support. We have formed for the sole purpose of establishing a community of local homeschooling families. We are a cooperative support group, meaning that all members need to contribute to the group in order to make us grow and thrive.

Homeschool Central THE place for all homeschoolers in Oregon's Willamette Valley! We welcome families of all homeschooling styles. Hatfield Marine Science Center
There are many ways for homeschooling families to learn at the HSMC Visitor Center: exploring the Vistor Center's exhibits on your own, attending one of our public programs, arranging a private class for your homeschool group, and/or attending our Homeschool Day events held in the Fall and Spring.
