Hoyt Arboretum Friends brings people and trees together. The organization supports homeschool families with monthly Forest Field Day sessions, where students can explore the trails and tree collections of Hoyt Arboretum with a Nature Educator! Sessions are held every second Thursday and Friday, and each month focuses on a different nature theme to impart the importance of place and engaging with nature on a seasonal basis. Echo Theater Company
Echo Theater Company offers Circus Theater and Movement classes for students of all ages and abilities in a safe, inclusive and collaborative environment. Curriculum includes trapeze, aerial silks, tumbling, partner acrobatics, juggling, stilt-walking, creative movement, and physical theater and is adaptive to the interests and skill-level of each group of students. The Craft Factory
The Craft Factory is a place for imagination and creativity! We are a community gathering space, located in North Portland, for crafters of all ages. Hosting open-studio hours, birthday parties, workshops, pop-ups, and other special events. We also offer Crafts To-Go as a way of providing The Craft Factory experience at home. Each craft kit is individually and uniquely made, with love, by us. We craft using up-cycle and recycled materials. DeMolay is an organization based on timeless principles, committed to developing and inspiring leadership, team building and networking for young men ages 12 to 21. Alder Commons
Alder Commons is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community space where kids and adults alike attend workshops and classes, and spend their time freely. A multigenerational and multicultural community, we practice and promote our Core Values of Self-Determination, Collective Liberation, and Community Support. Our 270+ Members use our space as an affordable office alternative, as a space to play and learn, as their artist studios, and even as a place to run their food-based businesses. Columbia River Maritime Museum
The Education Department at Columbia River Maritime Museum offers a multitude of learning opportunities from self-guided visits or facilitated learning labs, to school break public programming and low sensory time! There is always something to do and learn with our crew.

The Rice Museum of Rocks and Minerals is nestled in a park-like setting amongst 23 acres of old-growth evergreen trees. It houses a world-class collection of minerals, rocks, gems, fossils, and meteorites. The Museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its unique architectural style, natural stonework, and extraordinary native Oregon woodwork found throughout the building. 

The Museum is a Smithsonian Affiliate, one of only three in Oregon. The Affiliation serves as an endorsement of the quality of a museum’s facilities, the training and professionalism of its staff, and its mission to educate the public.
