Online charter schools are publicly-funded options for families who choose a home-based educational environment, with a traditional curriculum program. Charter schools are public schools. If your child is enrolled in an online public school, you do not need to register as a homeschooler, but you may participate in many homeschool programs while attending a public charter school.
Alliance Charter Academy

Baker Web Academy and Early College
Our Academy offers a hybrid of online classes, paper and pencil classes, and face-to-face learning opportunities. Our Early College Program offers students a chance to attend local community colleges full time to earn college and high school credit at the same time.
Bridge Charter Academy
The Bridge Charter Academy in Lowell, OR is a Personalized Learning School designed to serve the homeschool and at-risk students in Lane County. The Bridge model is for parents, teachers, and students to collaborate and customize a Learning Plan for each student. This plan focuses on the student’s learning style, interests, and academic goals. Bridge will facilitate this personalization with access to: licensed and highly qualified teachers, an accredited diploma, a spectrum of quality curriculum options, educational software, technology, assessments, and a learning cohort for interaction and encouragement. The first year (2016-17) we will have a cap of 300 students and will add one grade each year until we have a full K-12 program. Once the cap has been reached, students will be placed on a waiting list and we will follow the ORS 338.125 for admitting new students.
Clackamas Web Academy
A virtual charter school that offers computer curriculum that is interactive, entertaining, challenging, and is designed to fit the Oregon State Standards. The curriculum offers games, puzzles and other ways to enhance the students learning. While at CWA, you will have a teacher representative who can grade the student’s work, tutor when needed, and offer support to the family. Weekly meetings help encourage the parent’s role and help support the student. Located at 1901 SE Oak Grove Blvd. in Milwaukie.
Frontier Charter Academy
Frontier Charter Academy is a tuition-free, online public charter school which focuses on less standardized test prep and more on authentic learning. Each student will be issued a Chromebook and have the flexibility and support to meet their individual learning needs. FCA will use the latest technologies that are used within the higher education schools and industries today. FCA is opening in Fall 2017 and is enrolling any student in the state of Oregon that will enter grades 5-9.
Metro East Web Academy
The mission of the MEWA is to provide a high-quality online educational option. We provide effective computer technologies and quality curriculum materials delivered online, in-person, and on/off campus. MEWA is the only high school offering dual credit College NOW online courses through Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC). Students can also participate in the Metro East Early College Program (MEECA) in partnership with MHCC and PCC. MEECA provides students an opportunity to earn their associates degree while simultaneously earning their high school diploma.
Oregon Connections Academy (ORCA)
A virtual public charter school through the Scio School District that serves students in grades K-11 throughout Oregon. Oregon homeschoolers pay no tuition but are required to take all state-mandated, standardized tests in person at locations designated by the school. For more information, call 800-382-6010.
Oregon Virtual Academy (ORVA)
Curriculum and services provided by K12. For Oregon residents, learning can happen at home, on the road, or wherever an Internet connection can be found. While attendance, teacher interaction, and daily lessons are conducted online, our lessons use physical materials and offline tools as well. Because ORVA is a public school, there is no tuition.
Oregon Virtual Education (ORVED)
Oregon Virtual Education is a publicly-funded virtual charter school in Oregon that offers online classes to students in grades 6-12. Students can take one class or take classes full time while being at home. We offer a wide variety of courses including AP courses in every subject and a number of foreign language classes including Chinese.
Paisley Distance Learning Program
Paisley Distance Learning Program is a virtual public school offering comprehensive K-8 education through a hybrid of curricula choices including online learning and paper/pencil programs. Our goal is to provide a rigorous and personal educational option for families in the state of Oregon. All our students learn in their homes, or location of choice.
Portland Community College Open Enrollment
Homeschoolers can get a head start on college, pursue special interests, make-up or supplement high school experience, or earn PCC credits toward a degree.

Willow Wind Community Learning Center
A public, part-time alternative program in Ashland that offers classes, tutorials, curriculum resources and counseling designed to support the diverse educational philosophies embraced by the families enrolled in the program while supporting the state and federal educational standards. Class offerings are created each semester and may cover subjects such as history, math, science, music, drama, natural history, art, gardening, and second language.
